Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Job Title: Teaching Assistant 

Grade: Grade 2, Point 02 (£23,656  Pro Rata)

Hours Per Week: 20 hours per week - every morning, 8.45am - 12.45pm

Weeks Per Year: 39 weeks per year (school term times)

Required: Starting date: 24th February 2025


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, kind and caring individual to work with our Key Stage 1 class teacher to provide an exemplary education to our pupils.

Crawford’s School is fully committed to safeguarding our pupils by promoting the welfare of children. We require all staff to share this commitment. All staff are subject to enhanced DBS checks and further safeguarding checks as appropriate to the role.

You will be:

  • a kind communicator, reflective, courageous, resilient, inquisitive and aspirational (our Crawfords Cogs)

  • be able to work cooperatively with the class teachers and the Special Educational Needs Lead in the school 

  • open to developing your practice with children, willing to learn and grow with experience

  • flexible to adapt duties and responsibilities as per the need of the pupil in your care

  • experienced with working with young children, preferably within a school setting.

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teaching Assistant Vacancy

Job Title: Teaching Assistant to support the needs of children with special educational needs within our school.

 

Grade: Grade 2, Point 02 (£23,656 Pro Rata)

Hours Per Week: 30 hours per week - Monday - Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm 

Weeks Per Year: 39 weeks per year (school term times)

Required: Starting date: 24th February 2025 (or sooner if possible)


We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, kind and caring individual to work with some of our children with special educational needs.

Crawford’s School is fully committed to safeguarding our pupils by promoting the welfare of children. We require all staff to share this commitment. All staff are subject to enhanced DBS checks and further safeguarding checks as appropriate to the role.

You will be:

  • a kind communicator, reflective, courageous, resilient, inquisitive and aspirational (our Crawfords Cogs)

  • energetic and enthusiastic

  • knowledgeable of children and child development

  • able to work cooperatively and communicate with other professionals

  • willing to undergo training if necessary

  • flexible to adapt duties and responsibilities as per the needs of the pupils in your care

  • have some experience of working with young children with Special Educational Needs, preferably within a school setting.
